Coherent, Day 12

Haiku Heights – Coherent. I already wrote a haiku on waves, which are the perfect example of coherence for me. So, naturally, I had to relate the new haiku to the old one. In case you are curious about it, you can read my Waves Haiku HERE.

And this is the new one:

In fact, sea waves are

The image of coherence

Perfection in physics.

Possible failure, Day 11 of poetry month

NaPoWriMo, Day 11

1. Haiku Heights – Possible

A little duckling
Even in solitude
Still learns all his ways.

Still learning his ways
The tiger cub will not roar
When waiting for lunch.

When waiting for lunch
A baby will look at you
Ready to speak up.

Ready to speak up
We choose our own silences
Possible to fail.

Summer afternoon, Day 10

NaPoWriMo, Day 10

Haiku Heights – Summer

Birds and trees are hushed

Air still and bees don’t buzz

Summer afternoon

A Wordle and Seashore, Day 9

NaPoWriMo, Day 9

1. Sunday wordle #51

Destiny brings to addiction
The sorrows you spill in a story
Or in those staggering songs
That dusk carries on
A heart is broken
Over a mate who’s buried
And marrow is frozen
Over destiny’s sorrows.

2. Haiku Heights – Seashore

Sand lying asleep

Decorated by shells

Gulls echo waves

Play, Day 8 Haiku

NaPoWriMo, Day 8

Haiku Heights – Play

The clouds above us

Chase like laces circling us

At play with shadows.

Forgive in Day 7

Here is my seventh daily contribution to the Poetry Month challenge and celebration! So far, I have managed to keep my pace and hope to have the strength to do so for the remaining three weeks.

The prompt on which I poem today comes from the Haiku Heights and is Forgive.

Forgive the rain that

Falls over the sea but not

On your thirsty field.

Hope, Hiding and Sweating Animals for Day 6

NaPoWriMo, Day 6 – I hope this small collection will be well-liked 🙂

1. Haiku Heights – Hope

Hope dawns with each day
Skies redden and glow with it –
Sunrise and sunset.

2. NaPoWriMo.net – Animal

A mother cat will
look upon her litter as
Tigers in waiting.

3. Being Poetry – Sweat

Do you remember that winter?
You left the windows open
And yet you sweated.

Do you recall now
That warmth within
Which made you sweat?

Or do you sweat now
only for the awkwardness
of a silly situation
I put you in
with
these
very
words
of
mine?

4. Poetic Asides – Hiding

Conceal those tears
And make me believe
There is nothing but joy.

And make me believe
We are overly happy
To be here and now.

There is nothing but joy –
“As is” clause
fully operational

In hiding.

Waves haiku for Day 5

Yesterday, I somehow failed to post a link at Haiku Heights, which is one of the main sites whose prompts I follow. That’s why today, I hurry and here it is:

1. Haiku Heights – Waves

Rolling, swelling waves

Come to peace in piece of foam

Magical physics.

Doubt, no doubt…

NaPoWriMo, Day 4

1. Haiku Heights – Doubt

A bird in a bush
Blossoms fragrant, warbling spills
No doubt in her heart

***

No doubt in her heart
But the pure stifling cold of red
Exasperation.

***

Exasperation –
Insanity’s middle name
A bird in a bush.

2. Being Poetry – Uproar

Two boys and a girl
Their parents –
Friends from teenage
Trying to make up for
Time so long
Trying to cast a bridge
Over
Time

Two boys and a girl –
Clatter, clamour
Crush and break
Toys around
Below and above
You step on them
Silence is forbidden

Two boys and a girl
Trying to cast a bridge

Parents too tired to mind
Too happy to reproach
Too deaf to hear.

3. Poetic Asides – 100% something

You are 100% awesome!
I’m 100% there for you!
Are those eyes of yours
100% green?
Or I am only
100% taken in?
100% stunning –
that’s how I see you
100% stupefied –
that’s how I get
when I finally see you
for looking at you
blinds me
100%

Deserted, Day 2

NaPoWriMo, Day 2 – first prompt to act today comes from:

Haiku Heights – Deserted

Beaches still empty

Sun light gliding through the clouds

Water marking line

Water marking line

Splits horizon in seasons

Autumn deserted

Autumn deserted

Stiff in wait for the frost

Snow comes as blessing

Snow comes as blessing

To the deserted beaches

While cool sand sleeps lost

While cool sand sleeps lost

The sun shine pokes through the mist

Deserted no more
