NaPoWriMo, Day 2 – first prompt to act today comes from:
Haiku Heights – Deserted
Beaches still empty
Sun light gliding through the clouds
Water marking line
Water marking line
Splits horizon in seasons
Autumn deserted
Autumn deserted
Stiff in wait for the frost
Snow comes as blessing
Snow comes as blessing
To the deserted beaches
While cool sand sleeps lost
While cool sand sleeps lost
The sun shine pokes through the mist
Deserted no more

seasons, frost, mist and beach.. an amazing array of emotions as images…
This “desertion” just unfolds line after line until the desertion folds in upon itself and it no more! A wondrous cascade!

Hello Mariya, what a wonderfully composed cascading haiku on deserted … so many images … really awesome.
Many thanks to:

Karen – I’m glad you liked it.
Kinara – the lovely feeling winter’s leaving 😀
Geraldine – Nice that you have enjoyed it.
Cheryl – I like that image, too.
Grace – I appreciate you liking it. That is my first attempt at this form 😉
Chevrefeuille – thank you for your encouraging words!
Love the way each stanza flows into the next. Clever!
Misky – thanks! I discovered this “cascading” haiku at the Haiku Heights site. A lot of masters doing it there. It could be charming, indeed.
