Myth

At first I wrote … the first one 🙂 Then I counted the syllables and you know the rest. The second one is perhaps the one.

Myth

Disbelieving the incredible
Rede of heroic past
Only blood on the tree bark.

***
Incredible tale
Of past glory and heroes
Blood traces will stay.

Wind Storm

We continue with the Carpe Diem very rich prompts. They keep on coming, I can hardly catch up.

Carpe Diem #302 – Windstorm

Wind bears my soul
Grinding and scraping the field
Outside the window.

Harvest Moon

There are process notes with this one.

– While on lunch break, I couldn’t come up with a haiku. The first poem is the one I wrote. Later, when I came home and sat down to post, I decided to edit my original poem a bit, but hated to lose any of the images I had, so I turned it into two haiku. Maybe not the best result, but I believe it is good enough.

Carpe Diem #301 – Harvest Moon

**
Blowing the winds of reality
autumn reminds of itself –
paradise of yellowness.
Come closer and feed your vision.

**
Blowing the winds of
reality, autumn is
so full of itself.

Paradise of moon,
yellowness will come closer
Feeding your vision

Dread

Haiku Heights, 2013 September Heights #17. I am getting more and more atuned to it. Of course, I also enjoy it more. That is what poeming is all about, isn’t it? So, the prompt for today is Dread. Boy, have I not feared dread as I fear Fright itself? Have I not wanted to write a poem on it? Longer, of course, yet how come I notice shorter works better by me? You tell me. I don’t know, or wouldn’t tell. Just to hear somebody speak 😉

Dread

Surely the last
Existing wheel of will
Will spill in fear.

Scarecrow

I find today’s prompt rather curious

Shuffling silently
Falling leaves and crunching straws,
Birds leave anyway.

Evening Faces

My poetry friend, Kristjaan Panneman from the Carpe Diem haiku blog, has an interesting prompt for haiku lovers. We are supposed to read a poem, get inspired by it and create our own haiku. I found the story behind, and the poem itself really attractive and intriguing. To cut the long story short, go over there and see for yourself. Krisjaan has a magnificent way to introduce prompts, I really love his presentations.

Here is my haiku:

Carpe Diem – Distillation #2

My eyes believe not
Her face is on the pyre
Evening sky falls apart.

Carnival

Since I work in the sphere of entertainment, games come naturally to my mind. Here is what I wrote to Haiku Heights’ Day 16 prompt in the September Heights meme: Carnival

Carnival of games,
Multi-coloured, vivid cards,
Autumn playing fun.
