Brutal Minds, So Passes Time

It is very hard for me to write introductions to my poems. On the one hand, I feel the poem tossed naked into the wild of the post, if it has no proper intro. On the other hand, I feel my intros inadequate to the sensation and the emotion I want to bring. Maybe intros, besides titles, are an area where I need to work more. For what point and purpose, though? To sell? To get noticed? To see people come here… I don’t believe any single soul cares. And that, well, that is the saddest part.

***
Brutal minds
believe their endlessness
hoping all will come in place
in time
Though all clocks will run
just one direction,
run through hearts
and bodies,
discouraging our drunken trust
in souls.

So passes time.

Ticking and wasting

Time waits for its running end

Until we wake up

I understand…

Sunday Scribblings #337 – I understand

***
I understand
Sadly, I do –
time lingers or flies,
it cuts us in two,

or much more and so many
That I wonder
as usual,
is there any

just any chance
we get through…

Time is never enough

Not a very great title! As if I have made that discovery! Yet, recently time has been in greater deficit than usual. Suddenly, I find myself out of time not only for the usual small “pleasantries” that I am used to every now and then (such as reading or writing); suddenly, it seems I don’t have time to have a proper meal, or any meal at all *rolls eyes*. Sure, my jeans approve of it immensely.

Not only that, but I get more and more tired. Maybe that is some sort of “springtime weariness” which catches me at the end of spring. Hm, how come things are so belated with me?

Hopefully, priorities will get prioritised somehow, and to my favour, of course. I’ll be waiting for that! And smile. For smiling doesn’t exactly “take” any time. You can do it alongside with anything. And then, who knows? “Anything goes” as Willie Scott sings at the opening of my most favouritest film of my teenage: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

So little said, so much to hear!

Carry On Tuesday inspired by:

***
So little done, so much to do.
And never time to do
it all through.
And never time to stop and just gaze
in wonder, in fear,
or simply amazed.

So little said, so much to hear.
Maybe too much, too close
and maybe too clear.

Sweet words and sweet moments
wasted in wait
for the time yet to come,
which is always too late.
