Cupcake, Acrostic

The Acrostic Only prompt for Food and Drink in March is CUPCAKE. I tried my hand at a Septilla. Just for the record, there are many nice septet forms. I found it hard to pick one. I am not a great lover of cupcakes, but can’t deny they have appealing looks 🙂

Nov PAD, Day 3 – Sort of…

November Poem-A-Day Chapbook Challenge, 2011 – Day 3: Sort of …

Sort of stupid
To let that boy Cupid
Lead you by the nose
To a paper reading “Diagnose”.

Sort of ironic
To see your iconic
Hero end up in a mess
While you look up to him
To take you to progress.

Sort of unexpected
We never hoped
To be here so long
So we finished all supplies
And it sort of feels like home.

Epigraph Poem – Nov PAD, Day 2

November PAD Chapbook Challenge 2011, Day 2 – epigraph poem

DUALITY

“We all might get killed, or even worse – expelled.” (Hermione Granger)

Danger
            is facing Miss Granger.
Believe it or not,
She’s the constant victim of a vicious plot.
To ensnare her into breaking the rules
And thus, get her kicked out of the school.

While the target of the plotter
Is really Mr. Potter.
