Endurance, haiku

Haiku Heights #112 – Endurance. This may be a senryu, honestly speaking 🙂

endurance will

molest the brave of heart till

their final fall.

Transition – OSI

OSI#213 Transition – Alouette

***
Transition best fits
Those willing to quit
Who move away from the dark.
It suddenly starts
As they fall apart
Blazing with beautiful spark.

Transition itself
Stays hardly on shelf
It often makes for the stars.
Those people remain
In fire and pain
Yet never live behind bars.

Cupcake, Acrostic

The Acrostic Only prompt for Food and Drink in March is CUPCAKE. I tried my hand at a Septilla. Just for the record, there are many nice septet forms. I found it hard to pick one. I am not a great lover of cupcakes, but can’t deny they have appealing looks 🙂

#F&D Cupcake
C upping my hands
U nder false pretence
P utting chill away
C uddling the reserve
A waiting the rebirth
K eeping warmer ways
E njoying sweet stands

Miracle, Shadorma

OSI (One Single Impression) #212 – Miracle

And do you recall the rules of the Shadorma?

***

When I need

a blissful moment,

I only

look at you –

the bliss I find to bathe in.

Miracle.

Shadowy Triolet

Carry On Tuesday #149“I have a little shadow”, the opening line from R.L.Stevenson’s My Shadow. And do you remember what a Triolet is?

***

I have a little shadow
It goes around with me
It makes me feel too hollow
I have a little shadow
It shudders like a sparrow
longing to be free
I have a little shadow
It goes around with me.

It’s wonderful… Sijo

This week the prompt of 3WW is deviant, minuscule, trivial; I answer with a Sijo (traditional Korean unrhymed 3-line poem)

***
There is unused abundance of deviant ideas
However, they are all tremendously minuscule in nature.
It’s wonderful how trivial objections hinder us.

And a cute flowery image, having nothing to do with the poem 🙂

Search, Quintain

Sunday Scribblings #309 – Search, I wrote a Quintain

***
The crying child will fall at last alone
with empty arms that we deceived him with
The whining wind of old is now all gone
to play its games around the house a bit
And search the path of days that runs forlorn.

Underground, Alouette

One Single Impression #210 – Underground
My take is Alouette

***
Distant echoes fade –
glinting dull of jade,
endless search for ground is on.
Forests here remain
helpless in their plain
destiny of living on.

Gritting teeth in quiet,
bringing up a riot,
monsters chase the ghosts around.
Summon mighty friends –
they will then remain
biting lips deep underground.

Excess autumn – Nov PAD, Day 12

Nov PAD, Day 12 – an excess poem (which is a shadorma, by the way)

***

In the park
Leaves have covered all
In the dark
Even then
See them burning red and gold
Melting you dizzy.
