Day 5 – the prompt at September Heights challenge, held by Haiku Heights is Ballet. How wonderful. I can’t help but notice that my haiku is not very bright this season. Maybe because I can only spare some scanty time to write, and no time to think at all, in addition to no time to feel and contemplate. That lack starts gnawing on me. Very sad. But, enough blah-blah, off to the poem.
Ballet
The starlet sparkle all anew
Beginning frightfully at home
Where hugs are cozy still.

In a satin dress
of sparkly pink
or silver
or better glittering
in all colours.
With garlands
that are
sparkly
and glittering
in all colours.
“What about accessories?”
A wand
and wings
that glitter
shine
and sparkle
in all colours.
A ballerina dances
like a snowflake
drawing flowers
bearing wonders
Eyes and hearts will breathe anew.
