a white shadow that will not go away

The Sunday Wordle #46:

The white shadow returned
Hungrier than ever
Craving for
The pretty fullness
Of the youngest daughter.

The daughter, though,
Prefers to stay in the metal
Box of her mom’s kitchen
And admonish her woolly doll
For the mess she made
Rather unaware of the coatless
Stalker before the door.

Which will not go away.

  1. Great thanks to:
brenda – it’s true it got scary, and that wasn’t my intention at first. But, then, who I am to direct the muses 😉
MMT – your words warm my heart and make me forget the chill of the poem 🙂

  2. I struggle with those Wordle thingies, can’t produce anything at all from them. But you, my clever friend, roll images and scenarios off your pen with easy. Well done; good work.

  3. Mary Mansfield – thanks a lot for reading it! It scared me, too, honestly speaking. I remembered when, as children, we used to tell a certain scary joke about such a shadow, or was it a hand… That was really terrifying!
