28 to Create, Day 4 – Near/Far

So far away
is desire
So near –
despair
I can’t help but
pair
those two.
Inalienable
like the pursuit of happiness.
Infinity is mingled in a knot
lurking on the bottom of my ocean
biding its hour
Not far from this moment
not too remote from
this rocking boat.
When has misery shied from its beloved?
