Wow, this is perfect. I like the imagery of needles in the eye. Powerful metaphor.
Ouch! This is a very different look at sleep. Get some rest!
Wow/Ouch . . .I have felt this, but I wasn’t looking for anything as powerful as closure, just closing, just trust that sleep would come! I love the double idea from the bead picture and the eye words. I wonder about the toys with perpetual open eyes, with stitched on beads . . . Very evocative haiku.
