Nights, as nice as they may be, finally come to an end. Then, it is time to go to the beach, perhaps. When I was a student at university, all my summers were like this. I had lots of time to read and go for long walks, enjoy the beach and practice sports. I had time to watch TV, as well, but I have never been a great fan of TV. Maybe because there was nothing on TV in my childhood and teenage, so I grew up without that addiction. Now I think of it, I still can go on without TV for a whole day. I am only used to watching the evening news, on all main channels. Yeah, just as I did in my childhood. Only, we had one channel then. But my dad used to compensate with listening to the so-called ‘black radio stations’ until late into the night. Needless to say, I stayed up listening with him. I always stayed with Dad.
To make the long story short, now I have to work during the day, but it’s another day today and the prompt for July 24th is Sizzling Hot.
The sand is hot
Your soles cannot endure it
Run, hop, dance
And it gets hotter.
Sand will cool down with time.
