Morning Crisp

You know, usually you need to get up in the morning. Well, not if you are on a holiday. Still, even in that case there are many people ready to wake up early and go outside to enjoy what I always call the ‘morning crisp’. Honestly, I have enjoyed this utterly enjoyable phenomenon only when I have been forced by circumstances. Otherwise, I usually sleep in.

morning-jom-11That is the prompt for the 11th day of July: Morning Crisp

Oh, wait – it’s early
Wait until the summer’s over
Morning crisp is something
Of the past and
Of the future
Crisps are easy to be purchased
In every shop, on every street
Morning air lacks the sizzling crisps
of summer nights.

  1. Morning crisp is a new expression for me.
It brought back memories of a particular time. Will post a new poem on my blog today. Thanks for this great post Mariya! 🙂

    1. haha, Patricia, I’m not surprised. After all, I’m not a native speaker, so I am wild creating phrases the way I feel life 😉
I’m really happy you liked this post and that you will write to it.
      Greetings, MK
