Eight years ago, during my first November Poem-A-Day Chapbook Challenge, I remember I had to write a “pro-” poem. Then, I wrote “Pro-Pasta<\/a>“. This time around, it’s not about pasta I poem.<\/p>\n

Anti-Society<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Anti society and its stale values<\/strong><\/span>
\nAnti all the old-fashioned,<\/strong><\/span>
\nTraditional, patriarchal, family-centered<\/strong><\/span>
\nWomen-effacing values and rules<\/strong><\/span>
\nYou are<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And will be<\/strong><\/span>
\nAnti all that goes without explanation<\/strong><\/span>
\nThat is taken for granted<\/strong><\/span>
\nFor rule of thumb<\/strong><\/span>
\nWithout any questioning<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Anti because innate!<\/strong><\/span>
