The party sucked
\nand I didn\u2019t need a young child\u2019s tears
\nto know that.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t care about the windy road
\nand dancing snow across it
\nsimilar to sand
\nor Aurora Borealis
\nbecause you are with me.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Because Joan Jett was singing
\nfull voice and full guitar on our CD.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Because the \u201cfriends\u201d we had
\nabandoned us,
\nbut that was not the smash
\nthat broke the cheesy party.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How can cheese be broken?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Along the windy frozen road
\nsouth,
\nWe didn\u2019t even care to see
\nthe frozen beach.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The party is over,
\nthe New Year came
\nto stay for 365 days
\nof grace, amazing news and thrilling kisses.<\/strong><\/p>\n
