NaPoWriMo.net \u2013 epistolary with particulars<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

***<\/strong><\/span>
\nDear Mr. Rain,<\/strong><\/span>
\nhow long until you hold your reins<\/strong><\/span>
\nand tie your whirls around the tides<\/strong><\/span>
\nbelow the ocean rocks where lies<\/strong><\/span>
\nyour precious treasure?\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You spill your thunders and your bolts<\/strong><\/span>
\nalong the Chestnut boulevard<\/strong><\/span>
\nwhere oranges unbridled roll<\/strong><\/span>
\nand wallow in the shallow pools<\/strong><\/span>
\nunwanted and uncared for.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You splash all over our roof<\/strong><\/span>
\nand wash the house of its neglect<\/strong><\/span>
\nthus washing off its innocence<\/strong><\/span>
\nthat rainy dryness had erect.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And then I stand and watch and muse<\/strong><\/span>
\nJust as I did some years ago<\/strong><\/span>
\nTo see the tenderest abuse<\/strong><\/span>
\nYou come, hurray<\/strong><\/span>
\nand off you go!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
