\n Through that thought line<\/strong><\/span>
\n That keeps us both<\/strong><\/span>
\n Awake and waiting<\/strong><\/span>
\n At both ends of the phone line.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Relay to me<\/strong><\/span>
\n Through that hectic confusion<\/strong><\/span>
\n Caused by our sleepless<\/strong><\/span>
\n Caustic mornings after.<\/strong><\/span>
\n Devoid of touching you.<\/strong><\/span>
\n And haunted by frustrated dreams.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Relate to me<\/strong><\/span>
\n Using that old-fashioned<\/strong><\/span>
\n Bunch of flowers<\/strong><\/span>
\n That will invariably die<\/strong><\/span>
\n Uncared for,<\/strong><\/span>
\n Forgotten<\/strong><\/span>
\n On the kitchen table<\/strong><\/span>
\n Where I tossed them<\/strong><\/span>
\n Before I tossed myself<\/strong><\/span>
\n Into your arms\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Forgetting thoughts<\/strong><\/span>
\n and phones<\/strong><\/span>
\n and dreams.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
