Today I have finally caught up online with what I have been doing off-line – the July, Oh my! so-called prompt month, whose main purpose is to drill me into poetry writing form in 31 days, because I seem to have lost it. Whatever ‘it’ is. I have been hesitant on the point of popularising all that, but anybody feeling like doing it will be most welcome here. I have chosen the prompts without much thinking. They simply follow naturally one from the other, with a couple of exclusions. Since July is a strictly summer and holiday month, most of my prompts have to do with various aspects of holiday-making. Some have to do with city entertainment, such as cinema, theatre, opera and cabaret. Others have to do with the sea or the ocean, and still others take you to the mountains and forests for a gulp of fresh air and some chill. Of course, one cannot have it all in 31 prompts, yet I have been really enjoying it so far. I have been doing all those activities mentioned in the prompts, but the theatre and cabaret ones. And to say the truth, I have used my own first-hand experience when writing my poems.
The prompt for today, July 13th is Money. Well, the association of money and holiday is a rather obvious one. I mean, who can really afford to take a 31-day leave and still have the money to keep up the good work on the 13th day of it? Hard, I know. Here is a curious look at the matter.

Indeed. We do.
