just saying

I will not write anymore.

PS. Because it is completely pointless and does not bring me the satisfaction it used to.

  1. Do you mean this? My heart just dropped like a lead anchor to the floor. If you do mean it…I hope it will just be a break to soak up some energy/inspiration. Your writing is so beautiful and thought provoking…I’d miss you and your unique voice.

Warm smiles to you Mariya, feel free to email me or message me if you need to talk, I’m here.

  2. Take some time away. Do something completely different for a while. If the need to write is in your blood you cannot and will not be able to stay away. If it doesn’t bring you joy or satisfaction anymore, the answer, is probably, to do something that will. I hope you do write again, when you feel that undeniable urge to have your say 🙂

  3. I have felt this before. I have stopped for awhile, seemingly emptied of writing anything worth reading. This is a normal feeling at times. Don’t stop completely. The joy will come again.

  4. Yes, also what Bren said, “Do something completely different for a while. If the need to write is in your blood you cannot and will not be able to stay away.” So true…I had thought of that yesterday when I was writing you but forgot to voice it so I’m glad that it made way any way without my voice and now I’m here as confirmation! 😉

    Hugs and peace…

  5. I am sad to read this post ~

Well, take the time to rest and explore other options ~

    Wishing you the best ~

  6. You may be right about yourself, needing a break etc., but poetry and writing is not pointless. I am pretty sure it’s really a sacred art: it’s a quest, it seeks a true path for yourself and your readers, and I think that you giving up on it is like giving up on your own best guardian angel.
