It starts with a seed, or a bulb ;-)

My fellow-poets and friends Marie Elena and Walt started a new project: Poetic Bloomings and here is my response to their first promt:

***

They say
you plant the bulbs in autumn
And wait till spring
to see the colour
of the tulips.

The rest is nature, time
and chance.

Oops … I put in my bex homepage instead of Poetic Bloomings website in my comment. Sorry about that! Anyway, in case my comment doesn’t get “accepted,” just know that we are soo pleased to have your presence at Poetic Bloomings!

I find the bulbs lying dormant under the ground so long and then popping forth when the weather warms a bit is just a it of magic. 🙂 Your last line is so true of bulbs and life.
