Only today I manage to stay at the computer for my own amusement, and it is not for long. Here is my Tentative Poem prompted for Day 3 of April Poem-A-Day at Poetic Asides.

Whenever you would
I was thinking I could, too
Then reality twisted
Our voices were echoed
Chances are we crossed the same street
At different traffic lights
Then entered the same bar
and sat at lonely tables
Back to back
Mentally climbing
the gloomy path
of minutes wasted.
