Along the rugged path trudge warriors.
Some cows moo their grace and blessing.
Remote and fierce,
the marble faces
give away no remorse or suffering.
Solely silence walks their way
And, shaken to its heart,
it works its splendor
by words not whispered
in their souls.

Oooooh terrific ‘wordle’ you led me to the challenge the “heights” and I thank you – now I thank you for this wonderful wordle inspired poem – it is wonderful!
Pearl – I see this as “author cooperation”. Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comment!
Had to smile at cows moo their grace and blessing. Love their marbled faces and words not whispered
in their souls. They are warriors, aren’t they?
I love “by words not whispered in their souls.” This is a lovely write.
Lovely use of the whirls 🙂
I think cows are such beautiful creatures and can be very graceful in their feelings too. If only most humans cared more to see it.
Loved this!
nicely done Mariya … the flow and the imagery – all of it very nice
